REHEARSALS BEGIN:	Tues & Thurs, beginning July 29 - Call Time is 15 minutes before rehearsal time. Rehearsals will be at Rosecrest Pavilion unless otherwise announced. There will be three casts with three rehearsal times. CAST 1 - Start time will be 4:15pm to 5:30pm - CALL TIME 4:00 CAST 2 - Start time will be 5:00pm to 6:15pm - CALL TIME 4:45 CAST 3 - Start time will be 5:45pm to 7:00pm - CALL TIME 5:30
TECH REHERSAL:	Saturday, Aug 23, 10am-1pm - MANDATORY Call Time: 9:45am.
DRESS REHEARSAL	Monday, Aug 25, 4:30pm-7:30pm - MANDATORY Call Time: 4:15pm.
SHOW DATES:	Aug 26-28 (Tues-Thurs) MANDATORY Call Time: 6:15pm.

Follow these steps to ensure a great audition!

1. Download and print out audition form. Please fill out the audition form completely before auditioning, either at home, or at the pavilion when you arrive. Also, be honest about conflicts in your schedule. Absences from rehearsal or performance are NOT tolerated unless cleared in advance with the Director. All possible conflicts must be clearly stated prior to casting.

2. Sign up for an audition appointment. All auditions will be taken on arrival basis unless you have made an appointment in advance. Appointments are in one-half hour increments and will be put ahead of the walk-in auditions. Please arrive for your audition time with the audition form completely filled out. Please remember parent’s signature.

3. Attach a photo. We will need a photo of you, so please bring a photo of yourself that we can attach to your audition form. School photos are great, but anything that shows your face clearly will do, so that the directors can remember you.

4. Prepare for your audition appointment. Come prepared to recite a short poem (no more than 4 lines) or tell a joke.

AND

Come prepared to sing up to 30 seconds from one of the “Schoolhouse Rock” songs listed for the show. You can use the online player and practice with the songs below.

Audition Results

Thank you to all those parents and caregivers who took the time to bring so many talented youth to auditions last week.  We are pleased to say that we had more youth try out this year than in the past two years.  This is wonderful!  But with those wonderful numbers comes the fact that we can’t fit everyone in the cast. 

The directors spent many hours carefully going over those who auditioned to find the best cast members for their particular songs.  Some directors even chose to open more than the 35 allotted slots in their cast due to the wonderful talent they saw.

Those of you whose names do not appear on the lists below, please know that we appreciate you coming to audition, and we hope you will plan to try again next year!

ATTENTION PARENTS!

Please be aware of the following for the first rehearsal, Tuesday, July 29th:

$5.00 is due on the first rehearsal day for your child’s T-shirt.  Please make checks payable to “Herriman City”.  Do not send your child with cash unless it is in a sealed envelope marked with their name.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting the first rehearsal day.  Please be at the picnic tables on the north side of the Pavilion at the following times: 
Cast 1-5:15
Cast 2- 6:00
Cast 3- 6:45

THE SONGS WILL SOON BE POSTED ONLINE FOR PRACTICE. Please check back to listen to recordings of the songs your children need to memorize. They will spend very little time learning music during regular rehearsals. Songs are listed below:
