Our 2008 Summer Production
The Herriman Arts Council will be producing “The Sound of Music” live on stage for this year’s Summer production. The Production Staff is underway with a great vision to make this production our best yet!
Our Production Staff has been carefully selected from the Herriman community to bring this show to fruition. Their vision and talent will create a musical journey combined with visual and artistic creativity.
And now, the cast has been selected, hailing from Herriman proper as well as surrounding communities such as Riverton, Bluffdale, Draper, South Jordan, West Jordan, Kearns and even Eagle Mountain! We had over 150 people audition, and have narrowed it down to just over 60 awesome cast members. Just wait until you hear the Nun Chorus. That alone is worth the price of your ticket!
Because of the overwhelming response, we have extended the show to a second weekend and expect to even sell out on certain nights.
PICNIC DAYS: (For families—or couples! Makes a great DATE!)
On both Saturday performances, the park will open at 5:00 PM for picnics on the lower field behind the Pavilion. Bring your own picnic—Don't forget your blanket! You will need to show your ticket for entry. Seating will begin at 6:30 pm for the show.
SEATING: The Rosecrest Pavilion is an open air pavilion (with a BIG green roof - can't miss it). The show is GENERAL SEATING, in chairs. The show is immersive with the audience, so their are aisles and platforms in the auditorium that the cast will be using.
TO GUARANTEE A TICKET, RESERVE YOUR TICKETS ONLINE
HOWEVER, TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
